Like a stamp on a tramp, this beer is about not so subtle seduction. Soft but complex malts, Chambly yeast, sweet orange peel, Columbus, Amarillo, and Centennial hops have merged to create a bodacious Belgian IPA.

12 fl oz bottle from Brewdog online store. Hazy brown amber colour, frothy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of melon, mandarin citrus, spice, yeast. Taste is malt caramel with orange, grapefruit citrus, banana yeasty notes and spicy bitterness. Soapy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle - Tropical fruit and Belgian yeast. Hazy yellow gold with a rich white head. Fruity apricot, mango and a light bitter and yeasty sweet finish. One if the better Belgian style IPAs.

355ml bottle from Brewdog Online Shop, shared with jeevan. Looks like one for pumpclip parade! Pours clear golden amber, thin white head. Big orange aroma, expected a bit of Belgian yeastiness, but it ain’t there. Taste is light sweet, resinous hops. Not too bitter. Bit thin on the finish. Nice enough.

Bottle from Bottledog. It pours hazy golden amber with a medium beige head. The nose is sweet, dough, candied peel, orange sponge cake, fruit cake and some sherbet. The taste is bitter-sweet, tangerine, nectarine, candied peel, underlying spice, grapefruit, orange sherbet, sweet dough and some alcohol with a lingering dry-bitter finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy carbonation. Decent stuff. A touch on the sweet side for me, but nice anyhow.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy amber orange color topped by a huge rocky beige head. Slightly yeasty citrus malt aroma. Notes of tangerine and pink grapefruit. Upfront, flavor is complex malt with notes of toffee and more tangerine. Mid taste is fresh citrus hops and bready yeast. Finish is citrus hops with a chewy dryish bitterness. Overall, nicely balanced and very drinkable.

The appearance was a hazy orange/brown colored body with a one finger white foamy head that died within a half a minute, light adequate lacing tries to cling but slides for the most part.
The smell had lightly spiced (more or less clove-ish/coriander-ish) that combined nicely with some citrusy hops that brought out some oranges and lemons.
The taste was bitter and sweet at different times, light spices add their flavoring to assist in balancing and lead to a mainly sweet orange aftertaste and a dry finish.
The palate sat about a light to medium on the body, could be slightly construed as sessionable. Carbonation was fairly harsh pounding my mouth and tongue into submission, still good for its style and for me.
Overall, I say this is a good Belgian IPA well worthy of having again, if I ever had it again, I’d definitely like to pair it with some king salmon.

Somewhat off dull aroma. Has sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Color is somewhat dirty orange. Taste is Bitter and dull, does not seem fresh by IPA standards. Terribly bitter sensations follow the session and this effect lasts for quite a while. wew. Not impressed.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, unreadable bottle date code. Pours very hazy deep orange amber color with a 1-2 finger dense cream colored head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, orange peel, grapefruit, lemon zest, pear, banana, clove, pepper, floral, light pine, caramel, biscuit, bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop, malt, and yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of tangerine, orange peel, grapefruit, lemon zest, pear, banana, clove, pepper, caramel, biscuit, floral, grass, light pine, bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Light pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, light fruit, banana, clove, pepper, caramel, biscuit, floral, grass, light pine, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of hop, malt, and yeast ester flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a crisp and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian IPA! All around nice balance and complexity of hop, malt, and yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Amber body with a frothy, off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruit, caramel, toasted grain and a hint of lacquer. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Slightly funky, but mostly clean malts with tastes of caramel, peach, citrus. Lingering bitterness.
