Sweet and light phenols, light brown. Ok dubbel. Not complex but no glaring flaws. I guess I’ll take that.

On tap at Crucible, pours a hazy dark copper / amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bubblegum, Belgian yeast and dried fruits. Flavour is well-balanced, with brown sugar, dark dried fruits and bready malt. Well-constructed, with a dry finish, though not exactly authentic. Nice stuff.

Draft - Dark plum and candy sugars. Deep clear Amber with a small beige head. Slight dirty yeasty notes, plum and dark sugars. Not a fan of this yeast strain.
