Sampled at Zeezicht, Breda. Opaque almost black color, full sized beige head. Aroma is malty, earthy. Flavor is malty, earthy a bit, a bit sweet and a slight hint of raisins and liquorice. Not bad.

Pours a dark colour, albeit not entirely black, and a frothy beige head. Aroma's; sweetish, fruity, berries. Retronasal it's weak, a bit sweet. Flavour is light sweet, light roasted. Light bodied. Finish is roasted with increasing bitterness.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate. Med body. Flavor is smooth dark malt, chocolate and something a bit more. More what? Not sure. Decent porter. Not all that dry, moderately bitter.

Draft. A- Cocoa, subtle coffee, roasty. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Cocoa, chocolate, dry, subtle coffee, roasty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- Nothing special, but very drinkable. A bit dry and no one flavor really stands out. I could drink this but wouldn’t seek it out.

Draft - Roasty notes, cocoa and a touch of dark fruit. Jet black with a small white head. Roasty and dry with dark fruity notes. Solid.

(tap) clear, very dark reddish brown colour with a small tan head; aroma of stewed fruit, roast, sour fruit; balanced, clean flavour with longg, light bitter finish
