Found on tap somewhere in the greater vancouver area. Medium head and a modest nut aroma, okay malt flavour and a medium finish. Medium best describes this one, perfectly okay but hard to remember.

Amber, bright. This is sweeter, touch caramel, low bittering and that’s it ..tart and metallic in the finish, so not much in terms of execution.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a dark copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, a touch of caramel and residual cereal sweetness. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted bready malt, caramel and cereal. Fairly sweet but nowhere close to cloying. Well-balanced and refreshing. Good for what it is.

Dark brown color. Based on caramel and dark malts, with mild aroma, and more defined flavor, balanced, off- dry, but without much excitement; a bit toasty in the final. It has a bit more character than usually boring Vienna’s.
