Bottle sample at a market booth. Pours clear blonde. Flavour has very boozy honey, grainy. Okay, pretty harsh.

Bottle - Vintage 2013 - Nice honey and a bit of alcohol notes. Pale gold. He only, some boozy heat but a c,ran finish. Not bad.

Bottle, pours a clear water colour with no head. Nose brings out light honey, a pretty dry and light apples. Flavour is quite hot, full of alcohol, honey, dry apples, and finishing with a very warming effect. Pretty complex, with the alcohol very prominent. Way too drinkable for 14%. Really nice stuff.

Exceptionally pale, hot and chewy aroma. Similar character. Seems a little bit unrefined as mead goes.

Corked bottle, courtesy of Josh; vintage 2013; Bin 24; 14% ABV
Measured Final Gravity: 1005
Very pale color, almost water, with a shade of yellow. Mild aroma, with a light fruity aroma, watermelon; glue. Soft mouthfeel, light residual sweetness, it has a nice fruity touch, but some vegetables bitterness in the end. It has hints of white wine and glue.
Fresh mead, but simplistic.
