Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark brown color, near black. A bit bready, mild, and weak, especially in the final. No depth. I came to this one with positive attitude, but itβs just a very mild Brown Ale, not an amazing Mild, I would object itβs not even a British Mild.

Medium brown. Not a lot of aroma. Thin and nutty, but only with a touch of hazelnut.

Draft - Toffee and some roast. Dark maroon with a decent beige head. Roast and toffee with a light dark fruit in the finish. Solid.

On tap at Postmark, pours a reddish deep dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy notes and bready English malt. Flavour is similar, with lots of dry earthy notes and bready malt. Carbonation is very high, which is not appropriate for the style - these should be soft on the palate. Very restrained, lacking character, but pleasant enough. Flawed but drinkable.
