Bottle from bierkompass.de. hazy ruby brown color with thick beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, dark fruit, coffee, hints of chocolate. Sweet malty taste, with hints of cocoa powder, dark chocolate, coffee and alcohol. Lot of alcohol. Earthy notes. More than drinkable, but with less alcohol in taste it would be much better.

33 cl bottle (11%) @ Timo A, BBE 09/2014
Very sweet aroma with lots of malt and some berries. Flavour is also very sweet with malt, brown sugar, some warming alcohol and more sugar. Way too sweet and too high on berries, but not completely bad though.

330ml bottle. Cloudy brown colour with average, creamy, lasting, lacing, beige head. Intense caramel malty aroma with a nuttily touch, almond, milk chocolate, a touch of roast, some alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty with quite some alcohol, waffle, hints of cinnamon. Reasonably complex, but way too much alcohol.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20121122) The beer poured dark brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had malts and alcohol. Palate was full bodied, dry and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, alcohol, molasses, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, boozy and bitter. Less alcohol would have resulted in a better beer.
