Well, what to write... On tap at one pub in Maastricht. dark brown color with small beige head. Sweet aroma with fruit and caramel. Taste pretty the same. One of the worst Bocks I ever drunk.

Bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Nice deep dark red color, decent sized white head. Average smell and taste of malts, some caramel, lightly sweet. Low low medium carbo, a bit low bodied.

I think this is one of the worst bock beers. This one tastes and smell very wort-like, very sweet and not very bitter.

11/10/11/11/8/11

Bottle from the Deen market in Wolendam. Pours a dark reddish copper with a foamy beige head. Warm roasted malt aroma. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is caramel with some nutty, chocolately aspects. Heat seems noticeable. Drinks fairly easily. Will serve in a pinch.

bottle, traded with bierkoning - thanks a lot! Deep amber-chestnut colour with a persistent beige head. Fruity-malty nose. Wheaty, pleasantly malty with lots of caramel and chocolate, also raisins and yeast. Shy fruity hints, mainly of banana and mango. Strongly reminding of a very good Weizenbock. A fine brew.

31/10 A 0.5 l can courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured reddish body with small pale brownish head. Fine fruity aroma, some lemon hops might be present. Flavor is simple but good, sweetish caramel and fruity, mostly mature cherries and plums. No hops here though. Medium bodied, somewhat watery and shorter caramel finish, but nice anyway. Alcohol wasn’t felt, but it’s nothing strange for the ABV. Surprisingly good for a macro name like Bavaria, but regarding who makes it it’s not a big deal.
