Bouteille: Clear, pale golden, small creamy head, visible carbonation; mild to moderate sourish-fruity nose with a yeasty background and traces of a simple hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied - without being soft; slightly lingering bitter and dusty- fruity finish, yeasty spots still detectable. A heavily diluted version of a classical Belgian Ale...

50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Vulpen Doorn. Clear light golden with a thin white head. grainy aroma. Taste is medium sweet and mouthfeel is thin, even considering the low ABV. If I didn’t know better I would assume it to be a pale lager or pilsener. Bland and boring.

Jul. ’15. A 0.5 l bottle from Mali ducan, Split. It poured clear golden body with medium sized head. Lightly rusty sugary aroma, maybe touched with cloves. Flavor was lightly sweet, too, simle sugary and vanilla. No hops as advertised, maybe only lightly in the finish. Medium bodied. Nothing special here, apart from the historical tribute, without any character and messy. It was drinkable, even okay, but considering the style it doesn’t do so well.

Aroma is of some brewing sugar, bit fruity and spicy but weak and watery. Taste is again weak, sugar, spicy and fruity, some metallic notes, sometimes cardboard even, grassy light bitterness, bready yeast. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, thin. Not very good...

Draft at B Too as their house ale. Clear golden yellow color, white coca cola head. Aroma of papery cereal. Taste is light and lager like. Belga and B Too need to get their beer manager back if this is their house beer.
