Glaasje gedronken met H. en B. Bruin helder bier. Aroma van koffie. Smaak is zontvangen en koffie achtig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Draught at the brewery
Dark amber color, clear. Mild smell, homebrew. Some caramel flavor, moderate sweetness, way too boozy.
Not very pleasant.

Draft - Sweet caramel and stone fruity notes. Light copper with a beige head. Sweet, dark candy sugars and very Belgian. Done with Belgian yeast which explains a lot, but I think it needs a bit of fixing.

On tap at Storm, pours a deep dark orangey brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of wood, bready malt and caramel, though seems rather laid back for a barley wine. Flavour is weird, with a seemingly undesirable tartness to it, followed by wood, bready caramel and moderate hopping. The tartness really doesn't seem very fitting. Quite a thin body, with a slightly metallic finish. Not a fan of this.
