This HotSide Sour-Mashed Fusion Ale was brewed by the folks that won a trip to the brewery from SEA-TAC and PDX on the first ever Lagunitas BeerPlane. This beer is a stoopid tart, bright, and lemon-y sour that is hopped with Mosaic and HBC 344 to complement and counter-balance the berry-ness of the Marionberry puree and the super sour lactobacillus addition.

Growler fill. Pours out a copper amber topped with a small head. Nose is great a nice hop notes plenty of tartness and some fruit. Taste is more of the nice hop kick and a good great tart end.

Draft - Light leafy pine and caramel notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet Berry notes and sweet leafy hoppy notes. Odd, but OK.

On tap at Fat Head's Portland, pours hazy amber orange with a small white head. Nose brings out tart citrus notes, biscuity malt and light fruity hopping. Flavour is a jumbled mix of these notes -- not really accentuating any of these charateristic in particular. Moderately tart and not hugely fruity. Okay.
