Draft pour at the brewery. Dark chocolate brown pour with no head. Malt heavy flavor with a sweet berry aroma. Has an interesting fruit bill late, that has a fresh feel to it. Soft spice. Bold flavor with a modest sweetness. Not the most interesting of their beers, but overall a good beer.

Draft - Had this with mcberko and rating was deleted by a zealous admin. Can’t find original so just copying his: Pours an opaque dark red with a tiny white head. Nose brings out the spicy lager yeast upfront, not much of the cherries. Flavour reveals more of the cherries, though they are muted, with lager yeast and a little spiciness. Not very complex, lacking complexity. Flat palate that doesn’t help. Not very convincing.

On tap at Hair of the Dog, pours an opaque dark red with a tiny white head. Nose brings out the spicy lager yeast upfront, not much of the cherries. Flavour reveals more of the cherries, though they are muted, with lager yeast and a little spiciness. Not very interesting, lacking complexity. Flat palate that doesn't help. Not very convincing.

On tap at the brewery. I originally alted this but on second thought, I think the from the stone line will be new entries. Anyway, pours a clear red color with a small white head. A salty fruity nose. Light biscuit malty base, sour cherry. A light toast and sour cherry base with some fresh sweeter cherry.
