Keg at the Taproom, 07/11/14. Rich burgundy with a crimson covering. Nose is red grapes, spice, mineral notes, light spice. Taste comprises more red grape, red wine barrel, red berry snap, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough if a little 1D.

On tap at Odd Otter, pours a cloudy dark maroon with a tiny head. Aroma brings out vinous notes, some varnish, perfume and candied notes. Flavour really brings out lots of varnish and perfume notes from the red wine barrels. Not much else is left here. Not very well done barrel aging.

Draft - Soured grape and nail polish. Deep brown purple with a small beige head. Sour purple grape and more nail polish. This didnβt work.

Ages in pinor noir barrels, so this blonde ale is purple. Vinous aroma is a little bit simple. A bit thin, with lots of grapey notes. A little acid but a bit grape soda as well.
