A west coast double brown ale, sitting boldly with a higher alcohol content and a delightful hop twist. The black malts are invisible marked only by evidence of the senses, or a lingering after thought.

Draft - Veey piney and some toffee. Deep jet brown with a rich beige head. Cocoa, malty, pine and more cocoa malty notes too finish. Very odd. I see what they are trying to do, and they executed well, I just don’t like it.

Black color with tan head. Easily defined as Imperial Black IPA: the aroma is a bit musky, hoppy; full bodied; dark caramel flavor with roasty hints; strong resiny hopping, a bit musky too; roasty and bitter final, but the mild sweetness helps the balance. Very powerful; very enjoyable.
5$+ for 10oz, 10$+ for 24 ounces.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a medium tan head. Aroma brings out notes of coffee, some roast and toasted nuts. Flavour is along the same lines, with coffee, sweet caramel, toasted nuts and some weird cloyingly sweet, medicinal notes that throw the whole thing off. Rather boozy and sweet. I can see how some people might like this, but this is a huge trainwreck to me. Gross.
