Island Session Ale. All the ingredients put into this beer have been sourced within 40km of the brewery. Making this wet hopped seasonal is an obsessively local beer.

St Augs. Light straw-amber. Thin head. The malts kick off kind of a vague biscuit note. Low bitterness, diacetyl on the palate...toasted butter. Not oppressive but definitely noticed.

Bottle from Steamworks Liquor Store, Vancouver
Hazy dark blond color, small head. Strong smell of hay, not convincing. Dry mouthfeel, a lot of hay flavor, grass, ordinarily bitter, no hop quality.
A basic Pale Ale, nothing interesting, why would you even put this on the market? Because you know that local buyers don’t know anything about good beer.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma smells like feet, with earthy BO notes and biscuity malt -- what the? Flavour is unfortunately not a whole lot better, with earthy, feet-y, BO-like hops and dry biscuity malt. How could anyone think this is good? Really poor.

Bottle - Dry hay and farmhouse funk. Clearish gold with a small white head. Lots oh and some pale malts. Sweet honey notes and not great.
