Muddy-looking pale tan, thin head. Messy nose with some appley notes. Sweet, appley taste, very yeasty, lightly pale malt note. Such a sloppy beer, full of cider, booze but never going anywhere.

A bottle on Black Christmas 2016 at 12 Kings. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is bretts, sour fruitiness. Taste is fruity, dry, smooth with moderate sourness and bitterness. Interesting.

Draught at Darby’s Public House, Vancouver; 12oz
Murky orange-amber color, small head. Nice aroma, fruity and vinous. Good body strength, with moderate residual sweetness; the flavor too is a bit vinous; the blend produced a beer that is better than them individually, as the wheat wine is only partially evident, and the moderate acidity and fruitiness are nice; apricots come to mind. The final is a bit boozy, maybe vegetable.
Nice beer, interesting experiment, although it’s nothing special.

Bottle - Vintage 2015 - Funky farmhouse notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Light sour noted, rich wine and boozy notes with a long funky finish. Draft - Some estery notes and apple. Clearish gold with almost no head. Funky, yeasty apple notes with some earthy notes. Oddly interesting with some boozy sweetness in the finish.

On tap at Darby's, pours an opaque cloudy bright orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a lot of the cider upfront, with fresh apples, followed by some stone fruits and light caramel. Flavour is a strange synthesis, with lightly acidic apples, stone fruits, muted caramel and some alcohol. It's fairly cohesive, though a strange choice for a blend. Finishes somewhat astringent and hot. Pretty good for what it is, but I couldn't drink much of this.
