Cloudy dark orange amber with a large foamy off white head that hangs around forever and leaves lots of tight lace. Nose is citrus and tropical fruit with a good dose of Brett funk. Light sweetness supporting a moderate citrus bitterness and a nicely balanced tartness. Mouth is medium with active carbonation.

Cloudy yellow, massive white head.Fruity swampy nose.Gassy funky palate, light fruit..Medium sweet, long bitter end. Manure notes and I don’t understand why manure is desirable in a beer !!

Bottle - Lots of funky fruity yeast notes. Very citrus and tropical. Clearish gold with a rich white head. Sweet tropical fruit and some boozy yeasty notes. A bit of nail polish, but OK. Very nice.

One of the most original beer I’ve ever tried. 650ml bottle. A lot of grapefruit in the taste. Must try beer :-) 10-4-9-5-17=45 08-Oct-2016. On tap at the brewery. Aroma is funky and fruity. Taste is pretty the same. Palate changed and rating changed as well :-) Or maybe this beer is just different in the bottle :-)

Cask at Big Rock Urban Brewery, Vancouver; 12oz
Cloudy orange-blond color with compact head. A lot of character in the aroma: funky, fruity, and some manure. Soft mouthfeel, lowly carbonated but not yet warm, the malt flavor is crackery, moderate residual sweetness, and it has plenty of bitter orange peel character, enhanced by the Brett. I’m not fully convinced by the extreme bitterness in the final though.
Excellent drink, but rough.

Cask @ Big Rock Urban. Looks like yeast soup and smells almost exclusively of brett. Pretty yeasty, lots of bretty character.

On tap at Old Abbey Ales, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out tons of funk upfront, with astringent citrus hop bitterness underneath. Flavour is similar, with notes of barnyard funk and citrus hops duking it out. Finished quite bitter. Greet balance and the brett seems to have been in here long enough. Excellent.
