Cusqueña Dorada is the most appreciated beer in Peru. Its exquisite flavor and intense golden color are obtained due to a special production process with triple filtering. The distinctive flavor and aroma are achieved using 100% selected barley malt in combination with the finest aromatic hops. Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 2A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch AT1029 (BB: 13/ABR/2024). AROMA: medium-high cardboard and stale malt aroma. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and cristal clear. low white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-high cardboard, stale-caramelized malt. medium bitterness with a dry and slightly bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a sample well beyond its best before date. needs re-tasting.
