COLUMBUS: Our single hop series has been a delicious and interesting experiment into the diverse world of hops. Following an identical recipe but only changing one variable each time (the hop) we've been able to study the exact aromatics and flavours imparted by specific and single hops. Our Monogamy series is all about settling down with one love.
Don’t let this familiar label fool you, this batch of Monogamy Columbus is something special. Columbus is often overlooked and overshadowed by new-age hops, but this boom-juice proves it’s a classic.
Hit with two huge dry hops to bring heavy layers of delicious naval oranges and tangerine.

Bottle: Poured alight orangey color ale with a large foamy head with excellent retention and some good lacing. Aroma of green grassy hops is pretty dominant and is reminiscent of hops pellet aroma. Taste is also dominated hops pellet notes with green grassy hops and hints of residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice to taste this hops on its own but hops pellet notes are too powerful.

I’ve missed this series. Awesome stuff. Lots of pine and orange peel in this. Some hay. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Great for an APA. Tap at brewpub.

Bottle - Sweet orange and pine notes with some sticky caramel. Clear gold with nice rich white head. Sweet pine and orange with a nice hit of bitterness. A bit sweet but quite nice.
