Clear deep gold, poor thin head.Light malt start, neutral mid, long bitter finish. Poor effort for style, quite unbalanced

Draft - Nice fresh leafy hops. Clear gold with a sold white head. Perfumy notes, leafy and bitter hops. A little less bitterness and I would really like this.

On tap at Powell Street, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out fresh piney hops, with lots of leafy goodness, and just enough biscuity malt backing. Flavour is quite sharp, with lots of fresh perfumey and leafy hops, and some doughy, biscuity malt to finish. Quite sharp and somewhat astringent on the finish. Very hoppy and bitter. A little harsh, but I like it.

Dark blond color, quite clean. The hop aroma is almost delicate, not amazing, more a good Pale Ale than a PNW IPA; the mouthfeel is soft and medium-dry; I’m a bit disappointed by the dullness of the malts, but at least it’s pale, not based on sticky caramel; good bitterness level, with some hop resins and very limited hop fruitiness.
It’s a clean and very pleasant Pale Ale, but it doesn’t strike as fresh-hop. In the end, I just believe that the hops of the Fraser valley are very far from the hops of the Yakima valley.
