This Fresh Hopped Red IPA was crafted with over 500lbs of locally-grown hops, all used within a few hours of being picked. Nugget hops were used for a spicy + intense bittering. A huge amount of cascade + centennial hops were used for a blast of floral, citrus, and grapefruit aromas. The result is a hugely aromatic and one of a kind Red IPA.

Draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver
Dark amber color with medium sized head. Nice lean caramelly malts, solid flavor, a bit metallic, with robust bitterness, resiny, but not necessarily evidence of fresh hopping.

Draft - Lots of malts and some earthy hops. Clear copper with a good white head. Sweet and lots of malts with some earthy hops. Just don’t get the grassy wet hop notes, much more caramel forward.

On tap at Bridge, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous and piney hops, along with bready caramel malts - good balance on the nose. Flavour is similar, with lots of piney and resinous hops, balanced by a fairly dry caramel malt backbone. Well-balanced, with nothing there that shouldn't be. Very fresh and vibrant. Good stuff.
