Amber, bright and a toasty aroma. The palate starts dry, with light toastiness but also some diacetyl. The finish is mostly diacetyl.

On tap at Big Rock, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Nose brings out herbal hoppy notes and a dry biscuity malt. Flavour is kind of stale tasting, with metallic malt and herbal hops. Not a good balance of flavours - they need to tweak this. It just tastes stale.

Draft - Pale malts and light sweetness. Clear dark gold with a decent white head. Pale malts and some light hop notes. Very thin and a bit boring.

Draught at Big Rock Urban Brewery, Vancouver
Hazy amber color with small creamy head. Crisp and biscuity malts, rather dry; with such respectable bitterness, this would be a nice Pale Ale, but the hops, besides a bit of orangey resins, aren’t bright, and there are traces of vegetables and diacetyl.
Needs some tuning.
