Dark brown body and minimal foam, watery molasses and coffee on the nose. Flavour is good coffee, dark chocolate, nice dark bitterness and okay carbonation. Watery though and the flavours don't linger, which I think is a missed opportunity.

Draft - Nice roast and a touch of chocolate on the nose. Jet black/brown with a small white head. Toasty, chocolate and a nice bitterness. Right on the money.

Med brown colour. Not much head. Has a fresh malt character that is more breadcrust than anything stouty. Very light...thin...a light toasty brown ale character.

Draught at the brewery; 3.8% ABV
Dark color, near black. Light aroma of burnt paper and wet cereals. The mouthfeel is weak and dry; roasted malt flavor, ashes, some chocolate; correct bitterness; the final is a bit ashy.
Monodimensional. Too weak to be interesting; there are other styles that fit better at this gravity, this one doesnβt awake my interest.

500mL growler, pours a deep dark amber with a small tan head. Aroma of very light toasted malt and dark fruits. Flavour is very dry, with some dry burnt notes, toasted bread and some nutty notes. Quite dry and burnt, but fairly drinkable. Solid stuff.
