Paleish, more golden than amber but somewhere in between. Thin head. Toasty, slightly caramelly aroma. Comes across like a caramelly amber…lacks malt richness. Balancing bitterness is okay…for me this is a classic märzen recipe but not executed to Bavarian standards.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy light Amber color with generous head. It has mellow fruity malts, bread, a bit of cereals and corn, moderately sweet, with low bitterness.
It’s not saying much, but it’s quite close to most German Märzen. At least it’s refreshing.

Draft - Some alcohol notes and caramel. Cloudy copper with a decent white head. Nail polish and light sweet grains. Definitely off.
