OCB sampler pack.
Nice hoppy aroma, with a smooth nutty malt. Flavor is nice and hoppy, not overpowering, and the nutty malt is a great flavor to pair with the soft hops. Really a solid amber considering it was made in Ontario.

A way too bitter version of a red ale. Not malt balanced enough. Brewed for popularity alone. oakville beer store (3.1 june 2019) Again from costco advent.. same shitty beer astringent and acrid

Can from the LCBO. Dark reddish amber pour with a large long lasting off white head that leaves a ton of lace. Nose is caramel, some dark fruit along with light grass and citrus. Light+ sweet caramel and honey with a corresponding citrus bitterness along with some roasted nuts. Mouth is medium and creamy with average carbonation and a light bitter finish. Glad i picked up a can to try. 7/4-/7-/4-/14

Pours a darker brown than what I would describe as a amber, think more maple syrup. Clear with a finger or so of head. Really pleasant smell with this, cereal, a little toastiness and caramel, and a little vanilla. Taste of bready malt, some sweetness, a little bitterness that lingers. A simple beer but not a bad one.

Bouteille 341ml.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks avrashi. Clear amber. Aroma of some with a floral note, some caramelly malt and light toasty hints. Flavor has a bit of malt sweetness,a bit of hops and a moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Drinkable.

smells hoppy and some honey malt. Taste has a decent medium body. Similar yo tankhouse. Enjoyable little kick. Had this from a friends fridge after helping him move and it tasted great - much better than expected.

LCBO, Toronto sampler ($8.95): Pours a light amber color with a whitish head. Aroma is weakly of caramel malt. Taste has some bitterness in there, but not a very good hop profile. Not full flavoured enough. Basically, this is a mediocre amber ale, which is equally mediocre to the countless other brews of this "style."
