33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ Biernavigatie.nl Pours clear reddish brown with a thin off-white head. Lightly roasted malts and some hops fruitiness in the aroma. Sweet taste but with a bitter backgroundtaste which is very pleasant. Rather short finish but otherwise an okay bock, for a given value of bock.

Tap at the Wildeman, Amsterdam. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head and a little clingy lace. The aroma is sweet malt, yeast. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a big wood malt liquorice bitter light smoke palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Hazy brown with thin lacy head. Aroma of caramel and a touch of banana. Quite a smooth texture with only a fine carbonation. Initial caramel, cocoa, banana flavours are stopped in their tracks by a strange out of place bitterness. Feels like a clash. Out of balance.

Bottle @ home. Lightly hazy reddish to brown color, medium to full sized off-white head that lasts for quite a while. Smell and taste malts, a slight sweet touch, lightly a touch of alcohol, quite bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Decent.

Bottle. Light brown with big off white head. Sweet malts, brown sugar and light spices. Also quite some hops with exotic wood and a herbal finish. Also some weird cardboard and metallic notes. Ok but nothing great.

Tap @ Utrecht, as Pan, large sample. Clear copper color, short off-white head. Aroma of lots of cookie and biscuit, loads of caramel. hint of licorice. Medium bitter, medium sweet. Finishes on the bitter end. Big on the caramalts. Good balance.
