#MashTag was an epic experiment in crowdsourcing, which handed the keys to the brewery over to craft beer drinkers for a week. We asked you guys via Facebook and Twitter to direct all the elements of the brew and you decided to brew a 7.5% American Brown Ale with oak chips and hazelnuts.

Malts: Roasted Barley, Caramalt, Pale Malt, Amber Malt. Hi
Hops: Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Pacific Gem.

Half pint, tap at BrewDog Bar, Stockholm. Deep brownish highlights to a body that is dark as pitch, shiny black surface. Spotty lacing down the glassware. Dark malty nose, hints of anise, mid-sweet. Delicious taste of oak, anise and dark fruits leading to a brown malty ending with bitter roastiness. Super smooth on the swallow. Well blended and well made. A pleasure to drink this one after a long travel and long walk in sunny Stockholm, 26.06.2013.
