Can shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Lightly hazed pale golden with a well appointed white covering of bubbles. Nose is straw, light citrics, freshly cut grass, pale maltings. Taste comprises tangy citric peel, straw, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carboantion, tangy fruit rinse in the close. Fairly simple saison but tasty enough and a decent level of refreshment is delivered.

Nice saison, or grissette, or whatever we’re calling these hay and citrus farm ales these days. Pours cloudy golden with great head and lacing. Light floral yeast. Hay and citrus indeed. Light sour finish and note of funk. Tap at Black Squirrel.

0.355l can brought home from Mikkeller & Friends. A huge frothy good looking fluffy white head on this one, lots of lacework and the body is light cloudy with a mix of golden, orange and straw yellow. Smells nice. Fruity nectar sweetness with melon, straws, some subtle yeast and wheat. Highly enjoyable. Refreshing easy to drink flavors. Again that nectarty fruit sweetness from melon and fruits, i get a little sharp bitterness, almost grassy and stingy. A faint lemony touch is making the whole thing a little bit more interesting. Yeast with pepper and wheat lingering in the finish. I didn't know it, but I really needed a beer now, and this definitely did the trick! 25.01.2014

Can. An unlcear, yellow-golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is a bit sweetish, with citrus peel, saison yeast, a spiced touch and some grassy hints. Way too carbonated, with a tad too much sweetness. Medium body. Oranges, a spiced touch, pale malts and some yeast in the flavor. Pleasant bitterness all the way. Lasting finish, which dries up quite a lot. Too sweet this one, not much grisette-like, but quite tasteful. 140420

Can at home. It pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. The nose is doughy, farmhouse loaf, pepper, barnyard, wood, hay and banana. The taste is fresh, doughy, banana, light spice, hay, light bitterness, minerals and citrus peel with a dry finish. Light-medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Balanced, refreshing and very drinkable indeed. Nice post-work out beer.

Can shared with jeevan, from Brewdog Online I think. Hazy yellow pour, decent white head. Aromas are more wit-like than saison - citrus, coriander, clove. Nice mouthfeel though, gets more saisony there, peppery notes and a clean finish. Good.
