(On tap @ Bar Hop Brewco, Jan 6 2016) Pours black with a moderate off white head and lace. Aroma quite coffee heavy, dry ashy roast, a bit of dark malt, quite earthy. Palate is dry roasty malt, toasted rye bread, cereals, spent coffee, lightly sweet dark malt that is quickly consumed by ashy bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body with fairly soft carb, not much creaminess from oats. Quite a nice stout for the low ABV, very drinkable and dry, but I would love it to feel slightly richer from the oatmeal.

Growler - Toasty notes and some roast and manure. Jet black with a nice light brown head. Deep dark roast and a nice bitterness and a touch of manure. Nice,

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy hops, coffee grind, light resinous notes. In mouth, a sweet fruity chocolate malt with light chalky character, light coffee, grassy notes, OK. On tap at Arrow and Loon.
