Herber und würzig malziger Antrunk. Eine trockene Kräuternote ist im Mittelteil vorhanden. Die Malzigkeit ist bereits auf dem Rückzug, zum Ende lichten sich auch die anderen Aromen. Angenehm aber nicht besonders. 9/10/9/8/9/9

Bottle 33cl. @ [ Back2Bock Tasting ].Clear medium red amber color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, nutty, light to moderate hoppy, orange, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081115]

Cloudy deep amber with medium beige head. Sweet fruity aroma with roasted malt, caramel and yeasty notes. Sweet yeasty flavour with roasted malt and caramel notes.finished sweet.

Bottle, 6.5%. OK farty malt aroma. Cloudy brown colour. Good malty flavour, hint of cardboard, slightly watery finish. Caramelly and nicely peppery.

33 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy orange with a diminished tan head. Mild spiced and light roasted malty aroma. Sweet malty and light spiced. Smooth and yeasty mouthfeel and flavour. Lingering spiced, malty and with a light fruity yeast note.

Tap @ BBF ’08. Hazy brown beer, off white head. Aroma of yeast, spice, liquorice, roasted malts. Flavour is sweet, caramel, spicy with a bitter finish. Bit thin, but nice flavours.

Bottled. Hazy dark orange/brown colour, small head. Aroma is malts, some fruits, syrup and metal. Flavour is metallic, malty, spicy and some caramel.
