A very pretty amber. Toasted, breads malt. Malt oriented. Not a lot going on but it is a good pub style ale.

Sample at the tap room. Clear amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Malt, caramel and slight hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and a touch of hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

On tap at Bainbridge Island, pours a hazy amber with a small near-white head. Nose brings out toasted bready notes - not much else. Flavour is quite bland, with toasted bready and cereal notes. It has a rather minerally finish. Okay.

Draft - Light caramel and a touch of twig. Clear copper with a decent white head. Tastes as it smells. Boring but good to style.

On tap @ Bainbridge Island, shared with jcnielsen. Pours a dark copper appearance with a white head. Herbal, caramel, grassy aroma. A bit on the sweet side. Somewhat toasty, light pear, a touch piney flavor. Slightly goopy. OK.
