The darkest of their ice ciders, Braeburn has a unique caramelly character that none of the others have. Itβs mainly sweet, but the added sugar complexity lent by the caramelization sets it apart from the simpler Fuji version.

Beautiful bright amber color. Aroma of stewed fruit, caramel, booze, glue (7-). Very sweet, with nice caramelized apple, high lemony acidity, quite high alcohol perception.
Very nice, but rough, not the same level as the fantastic Fuji.

Bottle - Sweet and lightly boozy notes, fleshy Apple and a touch of cooked Apple. Copper and red. Candy Apple, acidic, heat on the throat from the booze. A little rough but decent.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy orange amber with no head. Aroma is rich and complex, with caramel, liqueur, some alcohol and brown sugar. Flavour isn't as lovely unfortunately, but certainly is unique, with loads of alcohol, liqueur, caramel and lots of residual brown sugar. A very boozy ice cider, with not as much richness or depth, but still quite decadent. Very good, but not the best ice cider from Double Cross.
