In contrast to the Fuji, the Granny Smith is very tart. Again, there’s a nice apple character, but the balance isn’t quite right, as this is assertively tart despite a healthy amount of sugar.

Corked bottle
Measured Final Gravity: 1.117
Skewed Refractometer Reading: 31°B
Golden color, bright. Aroma of apples, alcohol, light vinegar, Calvados. Very sweet, almost syrupy; it has a mild caramel and stewed apple touch, with a decent acidity.
Not overly complex, but very good though.

375ml bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a few bubbles of white head. Aroma smells like fuzzy apples, fungal notes and light toffee. Flavour is medium-high sweet, with caramel, toffee and residual candied brown sugar. Not overly complex, but well-balanced and integrated - almost a touch muted. Very good, but there are better ice ciders out there.

Draft - A bit of cooked Apple and peel. Golden hue. Light caramel and cooked Apple with a bit of peel. A bit of residual sugars in the finish. Not very refined.
