Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Clear amber pour with a thin white head. Vague citrus hop in the nose. Sounded great on paper but the hoppage here is way too muffled and the flavour seemed lacking with a slight metallic tang and unsatisfying bitterness. Disappointing and not what it purports to be. Sounds a lot better on cask.

Has a deep bitter flavor, medium sweet, light wood, caramel and toast, resiny pine. Medium in body with fine carbonation and beautiful condition. Warm, sticky hop finish. Excellent.
