Nice clear gold body, strong carbonation, not bad foam though it doesn't linger. The aroma is rich apple with hay and twig notes, soft vanilla. Flavour is very boozy apple, rich, but bitter alcohol lingers. No real sweetness and I find the aftertaste cloying. It gets better as it warms up and the alcohol numbs your palate but still ends up not necessarily dry as much as kind of astringent. There are certainly some good things going on here but perhaps the abv should be dialled back to make them more noticeable. 2017 edition, 12.5% abv.

Bottle sampled at Rustic Roots, pours a clear blonde with a few bubbles. Aroma brings out lots of the nectarine upfront, followed by subdued apples. Flavour is quite dry, with lots of tart dry apple skins and fresh nectarine. Balanced well, with a bone dry finish. Solid.

Bottle - Light cooked apple and some peel. Light apple, acidity and a dry finish. Boring.

Pale, snappy acidity in the front, dash of apple then the nectarine. Fizz is light. Still a touch of alcohol cuts in late.
