Can - Dark roast and espresso notes. Jet black with a really nice light brown head. Chocolate covered coffee beans and a roast coffee bitter finish. Coffee overwhelms, but in a very nice way. I am surprised at how much I am starting to like their canned beer. Well done.

Burnt & roasted coffee, nutty in a natural way (if that makes any sense, it does to me!). Hops in the finish don't mesh too well with malt.

I’m not sure this is an imperial stout, but it’s certainly a very good stout. Pours thick black with lots of mocha head and lacing. Very pungent aroma of dark chocolate, roast malt and some smoke. Also lots of coffee. Leaves with a nice nutty and coffee bitterness. Texture thick and creamy. Bottle.

This is not an Imperial Stout. It is a decent beer however Black,small brown head.Nose of coffee,lightroast and alcohol.Nice roast coffee profile, big bitter roast finish. Too thin and low alcohol for style

They really put some effort for the look, as it pours a total black, with creamy brownish head. The aroma of roasted malt and coffee is very nice. The mouthfeel is smooth, but also dry and medium thin; it has a strong presence of black malt, roasted malt, heavily roasted coffee, with accents of cardboard and light liquorice; average bitterness, some of it coming from the roastiness.
It was not expected to be Imperial, and indeed it’s not; it’s a fairly good Stout, for the lovers of the lean style.

650 ml bottle from 16th St. Pours black with a medium brown head. Aromas of dark chocolate and ground coffee. Flavors of burnt malt, bitter dark chocolate and strong black coffee. Very dry with a bitter burnt finish.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is mostly dominated by coffee, slight roast and a subtle metallic note. Flavour features coffee, metallic notes, and slight roast - finishes with dry cocoa, and again some metallic notes. Decent incorporation of the coffee but doesn't seem so harmoniously crafted. Also, how is this an imperial?
