Clear amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and herbs. Herbal flavour, woodruff, minty, some spruce / pine like notes. Herbal finish. I quite dig this forest series so far.

Tap at Borefts ’13, 27/09/13. Amber with a thin light tan head. Nose is berry fruit, liqourice, sprucey wood notes. Taste comprises jammy fruits, sugar, berry fruit tang, light roast, toasty malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Ok stuff.

Draught at Borefts, 2013. Pretty orange-brown-red color with lace. Herbal, grassy nose, grains, and some caramel. Earthy caramel malt flavor, herbs in control, ginger, mint. Nicely balanced, with the proper use of the herbs. Good bitterness.

Keg at demolen... Deep copper... Thin tan lacing... Soft sweet woody berry nose... Juicy roast.. Dark sweet toffed fruit... Light spice... On tap @ Borefts 2012. This is a cloudy glowing plum-amber one with a small sidesticking bubbly beige top. Smells of strong sweet caramel and toffee. Quite on the sweet side. Also, it's concentrated fruity with pineapple and dried caramelized figs. It's clean and fresh. Definitely on the sweet side of the scale. I get lots of burned rye bread with a strong toffee like sweetness. Some alcohol nuts in the finish. Quite a nice one. 30.09.2012

Pours slightly hazy deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, bog mythle and spices. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel and spiced finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Cask @ Akkurat. Pors red-brown with a off white head. This sure is a crazy beer! But with that said; it’s also deliciously drinkable. A unique mix of dunkel (like chocolate, cardamum, coffee, salmiak and chocolate) and fresh (reisin, spruce shoots and citrus). Low carbonation, light smooth body. Just great!
