Tap @ Borefts 2012. Amber color. Dried fruit and a hint of pepper in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweetish, with some citric tartness. Earthy bitter finish. (7 3 6 3 13 = 3.2) Swing top bottle @ tasting. Amber color. Banana, citrus,l peach and some floral notes . Floral, oily hops, tangerine, red berries and peach. Some malty sweetness. Excellent!.

Närke’s version of a strong saison. Nice dry beer, with some weird spices. Liked it, but it wasn’t very original.

On tap @ Borefts. This is a mild woody-golden one with a nice medium sized bubbly and sidesticking heavy lacing off-white top. Smells softly yeasty and quite delicious. Soft fresh grass, some candy-sweetness and it's just really nice on the aroma. More sharp and hoppy in the taste. Good bitterness all the way. Soft fruity and clear sweet malty caramel. Yeasty as well, and the saison shines lovely through. A strong and hoppy one. 30.09.2012

Bottled. Golden color, short head. Aroma of heavy malt, flowery hops, belgian yeast, spicy, hint of raisin, slight cheesy. Big bold taste, bitter and sweet. Reminds me of de Molens super-charged saison. Pumped up saison, full bodied and full of flavor. Not as dry and crisp as most saisons.

Fyldig fruktig lett konsentrert lukt med preg av lys malt, humle, sitrus, tørka frukt, sitrusskal, gras, alkohol. Tørr lett konsentrert fruktig smak med preg av lys malt, humle, beiskt gras, barnåler, våte blad, tørka frukt, alkohol, sitrusskal. God bitterhet som set litt. Grei.

Draft. A dark amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, spices, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, black pepper, caramel, yeast, and other spices, leading to a dry, yeasty and spicy finish.

Draught @ 4th Borefts Beer Festival 2012, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.Clear medium orange / copper colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, riped tart fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet, light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity acidic, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120928]

Colour is brown. Small but dense head. Aroma of hops and dried fruit. Flavour is loads of hops, pine, gooseberries and nettles.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 1. Clear amber beer, little cream coloured head. Sharp crisp palate. Minerally fruitiness. Fresh marmalade hops, quite mild. A lot of minerally sting. Semi dry finish. Refreshing.
