650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with moderate retentive head. Aromas of bread dough, sweet malts, candied fruit, and light rubber. Surprising after the the nice nose, there’s not as much flavor. Full bodied malts with some piney spruce hints. Not unpleasant but mostly just a malty beverage.

Draft - Sweet caramel malts and light twig. Clear gold with a decent beige head. Lots of caramel and twig notes.

Poured from the tap. Orangey brown with off-white head. Bready malt and resinous hops. As others have mentioned, the vegetableness does come out and doesn’t quite work.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy dark orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out slight spruce and mild vegetal notes. Flavour is a lot more robust, with potent spruce and lots of unpleasant vegetal notes. Seems okay at first, but the vegetal-dominated finish is not nice. Not a good beer.

Hazy amber color with compact head. Fruity amber ale, with quite good malt and caramel flavor, mild fruity waves from the hops, very mild spruce; I find the final being just slightly too bitter and carrying some vegetable bitterness, less pleasant than. The rest.
Well brewed.
