Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with chocolate, coffee, dark chocolate, some liquorice and tobacco, ash. Moderate bitter and light sweet. Above medium body. Finishes with more roast and dark choc.
0,33 litre bottle, from Systembolaget Charlottenberg, at home. Black with light brown head. Roasted malts, coffees, chocolate, bitterness, smooth.

Smell of roasted malt, chocolate. Dark brown colour, very high brown head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, some tar and licorice. Soft plentiful carbon. Sweet, lightly bitter. Very balanced.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Chocolately, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, dry cocoa, minimally earthy, fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of apple and tobacco, toffee undertones. Taste is chocolately, roasty, dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, dark cocoa, dry cocoa, subtle residual sweetness, mildly bitter, slightly fruity and minimally earthy-leafy hoppy hints of apple and tobacco, subtle hints of coffee and toffee.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, foamy to creamy carbonation.
Balanced, homogeneous, focussed - lovely.

Bottle shared at Peders, Copenhagen (11/10/2024) - Dark roasted and sweet malty with layers of chocolate, dark fudge and caramel malty sweetness, some coffee roast, full bodied, touch of singed brown sugar, hoppy undertones, dark roasted malty finish. Lovely.

33cl bottle. Thx VastActiv. Poured pitch black with a dense espresso head. Roasted malts, ash, dryness and licorice. Medium to full bodied. Delicious.
