On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark black color with a medium white head. A big sweet malty chocolate nose. The flavor is big dry malty chocolate base, ash and pine. Good.

On tap at widmer Portland. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts chocolate coffee. Taste is more of the roast malts smoke chocolate coffee and some sweetness.

Draft - Bittersweet dark chocolate with dark fruit. Jet black with a small beige head. Dark chocolate and roast with some long bitterness. Decent but nothing special.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown ruby with medium creamy beige head that lasts. The aroma is roasted malts and rye. Thin mouth with strong rye and roast, light spice, very good.
