This is a blended beer. A Berliner weisse, fermented with Brett Clausenii was held for 10 months in wine barrels and blended with a wine barrel aged golden ale with lactobacillus and Brettanomyces. Cranberry puree (1 lb per gallon) and dried ginger were added for one month. Dry and tart with a fruity balance.

Draft 6 oz pour at the imperial bottle shop event. Pours a nice red color with a swirling fizz head. Huge, sweet mixed berry aroma. Nice, sour raspberry, cranberry, and blackberry flavor. Slight, expected ginger in the late finish. Overall a really nice beer. Loved it.

On tap at Imperial. Pours a clear ruby with no head. The aroma is strong cranberry and wood. Thin mouth, very tart, cranberry juice, good.

Draft - Lots of cranberry, raspberry and a touch of ginger. Hazy pinkish orange with a nice white head. Just as it smells with a nice balanced acidity. Nice.
