Seeing this beer around for years, I always thought ur was a pepper beer. Always excited to try it, a little surprised to learn its just a plain amber, and less than what I have learned to expect from Smooth as of late. Not boring, just less than their other great offerings. A hoppy amber here for sure. Draft pint at Xfinity Arena, Everett. Tips. Hazy copper, amber pour with a lasting head. Caramel constant aroma. Hoppy more so in flavor than aroma. Creamy. Good for an amber. Alright overall.

On tap at Skookum, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is restrained, with some bready malt, not much else. Flavour is more pronounced, with a big dry hoppy punch and a biscuity malt backbone. Drier and hoppier than most ambers, but still not overly convincing. It's solid for what it is.

Draft - Caramel and some earthy hops. Clear gold with a rich white head. Nice spicy hop notes, balanced bitterness and some caramel. Decent.

Draught at the brewery, 5.1% ABV
Cloudy amber color with creamy head. Minimal aroma of hops and caramel. The mouthfeel is very dry, a bit too weak, with some caramel, strong bitterness and a metallic aftertaste.
Nothing exciting.

Tap at fest : Cloudy amber, small beige head. Light piney hop/sweet malt nose. The flavor is mostly malt, it could certainly use more hops
