bottle from vinbørsen. warning! explosive! turning the caging a few times and the cork exploded up by itself, hit the ceiling, and richochetted out of the bathroom into the hallway. I still haven’t found the caging. (yes, i had suspected this could be dangerous so i opened it in my shower with my eyes closed). Still impressive the cork made its way all they way out of the bathroom, after going straight up. Not much beer spilled over (about 10cl i guess, or less). clear yellow, fluffy white head. hay, belgian yeasts, flowers in the aroma. flavor is malty, sweet herbal, peppery, belgian yeasty, reminds me a bit of french biere de garde. Appears a little bit too herbal bitter and too boozy, a direct taste of alcohol is there, it’s a bit too much like vodka and water.

75cl Bottle at WWT III. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, banana, pretty standard Belgian fare. Flavour is sweet banana, fruity esters, alcohol. Very boring stuff.

Bottle at WWT3. Poured a slightly hazy light straw colour with a thin white broken head. The aroma is weak yeast and a little caramel leading to a medium bitter yeasty flavour with a little bitterness and a hint of caramel in the finish. Not bad at all I have to say.

Cool looking glass. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of candy, malts and yeast. Sweet flavour, candy, quite phenolic. Buh. Bitter finish, malts and phenol. Meh.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A bad brew.

On tap @ Gollem 2. It looks good: crystal clear golden color. Sticky white head with good lacing. Aroma’s: sweet malts, candy, caramel, soft (yellow) fruit. Flavor is moderately sweet., fruity. Medium bodied. Finishes dry, but without bitterness. Rather bland factory beer. Possibly better in bottled from w/ refermentation.
