Draught @ Devil’s Elbow. Gold. Thin head. There’s an odd blackberry and varnish nose. Cleaner on the palate. Light fruity, very berryish character with a balanced sourness and clean finish.

Bottle found at the Central City Liquor Store in Surrey. Pours like a lager with very modest bleach-white head and a golden yellow body that you would swear was Molson’s. Aroma is mostly hops like an IPA with a hint of citrus. Flavour is a slightly murky affair of hay and wit notes with an overbearing lageri-ness to it all. Watery on the mouth. I was really looking forward to a west-coast made sour ale that resembled something like the original, but this is just a mix of an IPA and lager pawned off as "saison". Big thumbs down for this, my hopes were dashed.

Draught at Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2015; 5.8% ABV
Hazy blond color with small head. Very nice aroma, citrusy, fresh, sour, with distinctive elderflower. Not too dry, with nice mix of lemon and lactic acid, light residual sweetness.
This came out balanced, interesting.

Draft - Nice light tartness with notes of grape and citrus. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light tartness and some grape. Simple but nice.

On tap at VCBW Fest, pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Nose is quite lactic, with Belgian yeast and lactic tart quality. Flavour is much the same, with a lovely gentle lactic sourness that coats the palate. Really well-integrated tartness - much more complex than the original. Very good.
