What a fun blonde beer this is. The nose is deliciously malty. The overall flavour is fruity, with hints of sweetness and a warm alcohol glow, which tapers off into a slightly bitter finish. We launched this classic beer in 1983, making it our oldest high-fermentation beer, which is re-fermented in the bottle.

18/05/2016 - 33cl bottle @’t Pand, Oudenaarde. Clear golden with huge white head. Nose is ... if there was something, maybe some grains, little hops. Taste, the same, some grains, some sweetness,.... I’ve had it better than this, maybe it was too cold? In this way very bland.. Certainly for the ABV.

Decent tasty evening sipper.
Hazy pale golden color with a frothy white head. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a bit rich carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Fruity, some banana, light citric, some spices and a bit alcohol.

Malty aroma. Light sweetness and lighter bitterness. A poor version of Duvel. Better taste at low temperature.

Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is hoppig bitter en lichtzoet, abrikoos en citrus met ietwat honing. Drinkt makkelijk weg.
