Slick and thick clear golden with little head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, a decent chunk of hops, crystal malts. I’m not picking up much, if any, gin or barrel notes. In that regard this is a bit of a let down, however the beer that this turned into is quite nice regardless. Full bodied and elegant.

Golden color, hazy, medium sized head. The aroma is huge, very floral, elderflower, sweet, light anise. Good body strength; there are residual sugars, but it’s not too sweet; it’s a bit woody, soapy, flowery, a bit too boozy too.
Weird but a funny and interesting experiment.

Bottle - Herbal, sweet and perfumy. Clear dark gold with a small white head. Sweet, Apple, herbal and botanical notes. Smells great, but herbal sweet notes in the taste are a bit much.

Light amber color. Big juniper berry nose, caramel, very sweet malty nose with a touch of ginger. Very sweet malty mouth, tons of juniper berries. Smooth mouth, boozy, gin and ginger, very big mouth. The gin really works well with this beer. Excellent. Very out of the box beer that is executed very nice.
