Poured from the tap. Hazy pale yellow with minimal white head. Mild wheat and citrus. Quite weak tasting.

On tap. A hazy one, pale golden-orange in color, and topped by a white head. Quite orangey aroma, suspect some of that come from the silly orange slice the waiter put on the rim of the glass. Some maltyness, a touch of caramel maybe as well. Lacking big time on the spices, at least considering the brewery says it’s a Belgian-style wheat. That goes for the flavor as well. Some pale malts, but overall rather boring. Medium body, semi-dry. Well, it slakes the thirst quite well, besides that I’m bored with this one. 130703

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy deep blond color. Light wheat aroma. Mild wheat flavor, some malt, correct body strength and bitterness; there are some spices, but just an ordinary character; maybe some traces of fruits just in the end. Ordinary, but not bad.

Bottle sampled at Dunbar Liquor Boutique, pours hazy yellow with almost no head. Fairly standard Belgian wheat, with orange peel and citrus dominating the flavour.

Cloudy straw colour. Slightly spicy, slightly hoppy aroma with abundant wheat. Biscuity sweet malt notes on the palate with low bitterness. Hints of marshmallow. Slightly tart, and a little bit sweaty in the finish. Has a pleasant character like a Hefeweizen brewed without Bavarian yeast.
