This imperial IPA has huge additions of El Dorado and Citra hops lending aromas and flavors of juicy mango, pineapple, and citrus peel. Simcoe and Chinook hops are layered in to add notes of papaya, grapefruit, and a pleasant piney bitterness.

Can (that says 8%, not the 9.2% listed here). Pours a fairly clear gold/straw with a thin head and yummy aromas of tropical fruit and a bit of resin... maybe a touch of honey-like residual sweetness. Flavor is big and juicy... lots of full hoppy punch (sweet lemon, a touch of resin, pineapple?) with a balance of malt that makes this one sit perfectly on the palate. This is one of Fat Head's winners. It's like a less abrasive Head Hunter, if that makes sense.

Bitter and rather malty. Don’t get much fruitiness whatsoever. Should be better.

Draught @ Fat Head?s, Portland, OR. Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of juicy fruits, zesty grapefruit, tropical notes, pine and citrus. Taste is sweet, fresh dank hoppy, citrusy and piney with loads of herbal notes, grass and caramely malts. Finish is massively hoppy, citrusy and piney with loads of herbal notes, grass, citrus and resin. Super fresh and dank hoppy, awesome.

On tap at Saraveza's 6th Annual IIPA Fest, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, herbal notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is aggressive, with herbal hops, piney hops, some hop oils and just enough biscuity malt. Quite juicy and hoppy, with a nicely bitter finish. Excellent.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a very dark amber color with a large fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet pine and grapefruit. The flavor was very sweet and tangy with notes of sugar, strong pine, grapefruit and resin. Very long tangy finish of pine and resin. Full body. Well done.

On tap at Portland pub. Pours out a copper color topped with a white head. Nose is pine citrus some cat and caramel sweetness. Taste is more of the heavy handed hopping and a good malt backbone to pull it all together.
