Seasonal Release Series. Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. It’s a session beer that everyone can enjoy.
Like many Ninkasi beers, this is an ale more than a specific style, though we put it in the Northwest Pale category. A light toasted malt flavor is more reminiscent of a British Pale, but the hops are bright and very Northwest. Flavorful and easy to drink!

Bottle from Albertsons. Clear golden pour with small rocky head. Nice malty aroma, more malt than hops, equal parts pils and APA. Dry finish, again favoring the malts.

Couple pints at World of Beer Reston, pours a burnt orange/copper with some rocky, white head. Nose has citrus rind, grist, grass, light pine. Flavor is the same, chewy grains, a little crackery, lemon rind, light grapefruit rind, soap, dried grasses, Dry, bitter finish.

Bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours nearly clear golden with a half-inch off-white head. Aroma of wet dog, grapefruit, grass, slightly floral. Taste is bitter grapefruit pulp, grass, lime. Interesting, but lacks a lot of flavor.

12oz bottle pours with a nearly clear pure gold body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up a blend of cracker like malts, floral hops and a dash of lime hard candy. The taste begins pretty nice as the malts and sort of cracker like sensation are met by an equal level of hop bitterness that seems floral and a bit spicy and grassy and lime like. The bitter citrus hop character builds to a moderate level to midway and then maintains that into the finish. Pretty nice pale.
